Before you know it, Election Day will be here.
Don't wait till the last minute to register.

Advanced voting begins in person on Oct. 14th!

Here are some dates to know:

Oct 13 Last day to register to vote (check your voter registration status at: https://myvoteinfo.voteks.org/VoterView
Oct 14 First day to vote in person
Oct 27 Last day to request an absentee (mail-in) ballot (Anyone in Kansas can vote by mail, but you need to request a ballot. USPS recommends requesting a ballot as soon as possible but no later than Oct. 19.)
Oct 27 - Nov 2 Advance voting is available (some counties as early as Oct 14)
Nov 3 ELECTION DAY

Additional Voting Notes

a If you received a ballot in the mail but decide you want to vote in person, you can — but you may be required to take an additional action, such as surrendering your ballot, signing an affidavit or casting a provisional ballot. Contact your local election officials for details.

a Bring and wear a mask when voting in person.

aTo receive a ballot and vote in person, you will need to: 

  • Provide photographic identification
  • State your address
  • Sign the poll book
  • Don’t forget your sticker when you exit the polling place!
