Giving Back to the Community
During the season of giving, Skyward supported our community.

We just came out of the holiday season, the season of giving. Here’s what your credit union has been doing when it comes to community giving this year and how you have helped. 

In 2022, we gave over $70,000 to community charities. The organizations included Make-A-Wish, Guadalupe Clinic, the American Cancer Society, the Independence Community Foundation, Exploration Place, Center of Hope, and many more. 

The fees you paid for the holiday loan deferral were used to increase our donation to Children’s Miracle Network, with that money staying here in Wichita. Also, we gave a donation for every car loan closed in the months of October, November, and December to three charities. In October we donated $4,000 to the Kansas Food Bank, in November we donated $3,260 to the Union Rescue Mission, and we donated $2,780 to The Lord’s Diner in December. 

As a Skyward Credit Union member/owner I hope you take pride in the fact that your credit union gives back to our community to support organizations that help those in need.
