What has been your career path?  

I began my career in banking as a part-time teller while in college, where I quickly discovered a passion for financial services. Over the past two decades, I’ve advanced through leadership roles in lending, operations, and business development. I also co-founded Brittain Title Search, gaining valuable entrepreneurial experience. Today, I serve as President & CEO of Skyward Credit Union, where I lead digital transformation, introduce innovative member solutions, and cultivate strategic partnerships that drive sustainable growth.

Who are your mentors and how have they influenced your career?

I’ve been fortunate to work alongside exceptional mentors and leaders throughout my career. Their guidance instilled in me the importance of vision, adaptability, and servant leadership. Their influence has shaped my commitment to continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and leading with integrity.

What is your leadership philosophy or style?

I lead with a collaborative, vision-driven approach. I believe in setting clear expectations, fostering trust, and empowering teams through shared purpose and accountability. My goal is to cultivate a culture where innovation thrives, and high performance is the standard.

What do you like most about your job?

I enjoy turning innovative ideas into meaningful outcomes, whether by launching new products or improving operations. Helping both employees and members succeed while creating long-term value for the organization and community is the most fulfilling part of my work.
